I have many years project management experience on a wide variety of software and hardware projects. The projects have ranged from one or two engineers for three months up to 40 engineers working on a major product development for two years.

I have been involved in all stages of the project life cycle from developing the proposal (complete with cost estimates) through to testing, acceptance and putting the product into production. I have also managed the onward development and support for existing products.

I have been heavily involved in recruitment, looking for and interviewing potential staff to build the project team. I am a believer in using standardised (but applicable) procedures to ensure that all the team are working together. I have helped at least two companies specify and introduce ISO9000 procedures.

Although my technical background is primarily in software development I have been heavily involved with getting software to run on new hardware and managing hardware development projects.
