The protocols that are used in the Internet and many LANs are defined as a series of 'Requests for Comments' or RFCs for short.  Most of these are serious and not a good read.  However the editors have allowed some through which are on the lighter side.  Here are some I have spotted.

I bet you didn't know engineers could write prose...

Try looking at these RFCs 527, 968, 1121, 1300, 2100.

Animals seem to play an important part for some people...

Try these for size :
